Weekend Wrap-up

Friday night can be summed up in 6 wonderful words: Entourage re-reuns, Pei Wei, Ben and Jerry's... Perfection! Austin and I used Friday to relax and catch up on some much needed relaxation time and prepare for our fun weekend ahead.

Saturday was the return of Octoberfest (my 3rd favorite holiday behind Christmas and Cinco de Mayo.) We met up with our friends Phil and Kate Love, Greg Gipson (no Gwen, we missed you!) and a new addition this year, the Chambers and their awesome friends Jorge and Piper. We had such a fun time! It's not Octoberfest without:

Great costumes...

of course the chicken dance...

polka/freestyle dancing...

a little hula hoop action...

And last but not least, good beer and a great husband!
Until next year, Prost!

Sunday was dedicated to our friend Troy's birthday. We went to a great, Texas classic...Fred's in Fort Worth. Carolyn hosted a great party for Troy and made the cutest petit fours with extreme sports toppers (they went to see a sports movie afterwards.) Cute idea, CJ. Thanks for the invite!

I also spent Sunday evening making sure my TiVo was mentally prepared for the momentous week ahead. Oprah, Glee, Modern Family, Office, Community, Grey's Anatomy, and oh so much more! Get excited TV lovers! Happy premiere week!

Adventures in Belly Dancing

Stacey and I decided to sign up for belly dancing lessons this summer...thanks Groupon! We figured it would be fun, great exercise, and one thing to check off our "bucket list" (everyone needs one no matter what age you are). We had the best time goofing around and people-watching in class. (Belly dancing draws in the strangest crowds, us included). Well, the lessons came to end and we were informed there would be a "class performance". So, Monday night was Bachelor Pad/rehearse in our living room night for our big show on Thursday at Stratos Greek Restaurant. Here are some fun pics from the evening. I've never had so much fun! So proud of us Stace. We're official! Next month...self-defense/kickboxing. Who's with us?!?!
